    Every token created on pump.fun is read from the chain the second it is created: name, ticker, mint, creator.

    For history, every token with the same ticker is pulled from Jupiter with the date its first pool opened.

    First one wins

    The earliest token with that exact ticker is the original. Everything after it is a copy, numbered in the order it appeared.

    A ticker is not a trademark: a copy can be harmless and an original can still fail. The registry tells you what came first, nothing more. Always check the contract address.
